Sink Like a Stone - July 30, 2000

Like a one hand clap
there is no bottom
in the wellspring
I see

As i begin to drop
the stones
I remember
to tie the emotions
to them
- watching
as they sink
further
and faster
in the depthless
bottom

This continues
until I feel
nothing at all -
empty once again.
