would anyone else need to know?
For what is shared
to be between just two
and not a thousand?

If two lives parted
would they shatter
into a thousand pieces -
and be beyond repair?

If two hearts fought
would they love enough
to say
"I'm sorry"
and hear in return
"you're forgiven."?

If two hearts
felt
the same
would they still
remain separate?
