THE INCREDIBLE HULK TELEVISION SERIES
SEASON 1
Episode:1
THE INCREDIBLE HULK
This is the episode that all true fans of the series must see. I think it explains in great detail how David metamorphisizes into The Hulk. Susan Sullivan does an outstanding job acting with Bixby. The pilot episode couldn't have been any better than this.
RATING: 3 stars
Episode:2
DEATH IN THE FAMILY
This episode was a terrific 2 parter that followed the amazing pilot episode. I think it shows how David is going on the run after he is beleived to be dead. this is Laurie Prange's first appearance in what would be many in The Incredible Hulk Television Series. David tries frantically to get to the authorities to save a young girl who is being poisined by medidicine that she really doesn't need. Great Hulk scene-- see Lou (The Hulk) go head to head with a bear!
RATING: 3 stars
Episode:3
THE FINAL ROUND
The Final round was an ok episode that is somewhat dissapointing reason being that the idea is sort of stolen from the Rocky movies (Sylvester Stallone) But all in all it was a half decent exciting episode.
RATING: 2 stars
Episode:4
THE BEAST WITHIN
This episode was pretty intersting as David takes a job at a zoo and becomes interested in the work of a young doctor who is study animal agression. But that is spoiled as animals are being killed mysteriously. --Watch the Hulk go one on one with a gorilla... well sort of a gorilla
RATING: 2 and a half stars
Episode:5
OF GUILT MODELS AND MURDER
This is a well written exciting Hulk episode that is a nice idea and of course problem to put David in. When Davids sees on TV that a young model is murdered he beleives that the Hulk committed the crime. So he gets ajob with the Model agency and tries to investigate further. There is a pretty amazing feat of strength on the Hulk's part at the end also.
RATING: 3 stars
Episode:6
TERROR IN TIMES SQUARE
This episode decent but could have been a little more exciting and that guy Jason sort of got on my nerves for some reason. David is working in an arcade an tries to help an elderly man who is planning to kill this Jason guy who wants him to kill. -- A cool transformation scene in a cab! And The Hulk runs through the streets of New York for a little bit!
RATING: 2 stars
Episode:7
747
While trying to meet someone that could possibly help him find a cure, David boards a plane carrying an eqyption exhibit.. the pilot and his girlfriend (posing as a stewardest) attempt to steal the arctifacts. David finds himself with a big problem... trying to land the plane!-- In my opinion the best transformation scene is in this episode, David tries to fight the transformation as he tries to fly the plane... great exciting episode all the way through
RATING: 3 stars
Episode:8
THE HULK BREAKS LAS VEGAS
This episode is well done and interesting as David makes a promise to a man to deliver a message that is very important to him. But ends up getting a little to close to Jack Mcgee. I think this episode was great but a little to coincidental with David and Mcgee being in the same place so many times but nonetheless exciting.
RATING: 2 stars
Episode:9
NEVER GIVE A TRUCKER AN EVEN BREAK
David gets stuck with a woman who is trying to steal her truck back from a gang of theives.-- this episode was ok, but kind of lame. It should have had more scenes other than all on the road.--but there is a scene that I found particularly amusing when David metamorphisizes in a phone booth, you hear him yell "I don't have 25 cents!"
RATING: 1 and a half stars
Episode:10
LIFE AND DEATH
David volunteers for a DNA experiment at a hospital the doctor discovers that David begins to discover his little adoption home, so the doctor takes matters into his own hands and drugs David.-- ok episode helped on by some scenes with a drugged Hulk and it shows how The Hulk would act toward a infant. Definitely worth the watch.
RATING: 2 stars
Episode:11
EARTHQUAKES HAPPEN
David poses as a inspection man in an attempt to gain access to some gamma radiation equipment. Unfortunately the people don't fall for it and to top it off an Earthquake traps them in the building. David tries to free them all with the help of the Hulk.-- Decent episode and a lot of cool stock footage of Earthquakes shown throughout the episode.
RATING: 2 stars
Episode:12
THE WATERFRONT STORY
David takes a job as a bartender and finds himself acquainted in the battle for the Dock workers Union. -- Great episode that has a cool scene with Hulk destroying a bar whick I think is a great highlight of the series. Exciting and emotional this episode is a must see for fans of the series.

OVERALL SUMMARY AND REVIEW OF SEASON 1
Season 1 of The Incredible Hulk Television Series opened up with a spectacular 2 hour pilot that surprised amny people who thought the Hulk was going to be some hokey Science Fiction super hero TV show. Then lead into A terrific 2 parter episode, "Death In The Family." Then of course the 1 hour episodes. I think the quality of Season 1 was incredible. The acting on Bixby was magnificent and of course the Hulk (Lou Ferrigno) did his part. I think season 1 was so great because the producers and writers had so many ideas for plot lines of the shows and everything like the Hulk running down a trafficy Times Square in New York City and David Banner fighting off the transformation as he tries to fly a plane! I think the makeup of the Hulk was at it's best in this season with the exception of keeping the torn shirt on after the transformation which didn't give us a chance to see the bulk and muscles of the green skinned creature. I think that Season 1 set the stage for what went on to be a great Television series showing how David Banner was on the run from Jack Mcgee and in general the law. If you are going to consider watching a show from The Incredible Hulk or thinking about finding episodes try to get some from season 1. Especially the pilot which greatly explains how the Hulk came to be.
POSITIVES
1.great pilot episode to kick off the series
2.some great transformation scenes- ex. -- trying to fight transformation while flying a plane

NEGATIVES
1.only 12 episodes in this season but nonetheless 12 great ones
2.Hulk covered too much-- torn shirt
3 BEST EPISODES OF SEASON 1 -- MY OPINION
