E! TRUE HOLLYWOOD STORY

          On Sunday August 15, at 10:00 PM E! aired an E! True Hollywood Story on Bill Bixby. Basically a biography on Bill's successful life. The show opened up talking about where Bill came from and his mother and father. And I found it interesting when it was talking about Bill's previous professions, they said that Bill's father wanted him to go to law school because thats what most of the people in his family did, but it said that Bill wanted to pursue a career in acting instead so he got a job as a Hotel desk guy (hows that for starting at the bottom) then he also became a lifeguard. Then they went into talking about what plays he was in and how he first made his big break. And I found it interesting when they were talking about how he met his wife Brenda Benet at a fashion show! I was surprised that they didn't show that much Incredible Hulk footage since that was a big part of Bill's life but there were a few pictures and a few seconds of footage in the episode "Married" from the scene where David Banner is in the Desert and the Hulk is in a cage trying to grab him, but other than that there wasn't much on the Incredible Hulk and only a few words from Lou Ferrigno.. not much. But nonetheless I was happy with this show because it taught me a little more about Bill Bixby. One thing that I really loved was the interviews with Jack Colvin (Mr. Mcgee) that they showed! You can tell he is getting old he has a beard and his hair is mostly gray now... I was surprised to see good ol' Jack Colvin show up after all these years of disappearing after the Hulk to share some words about Bill. I really liked this show and I was glad that E! did it because there was just so much of his life that was not known and there still is stuff that E! left out but I was happy with it.
