TODAY'S TEACHING

99999 It is an accepted fact that one's actions today will have an influence in the future. While we must not allow ourselves to be overly concerned about the future to the extent that we lose sight of the importance of today, still we must consider the future. What are we doing today that will influence the future in a positive way?

99999 Think about this as it relates to the church. If we desire for the local congregation to be a beacon for truth and right in the future, we must take diligent steps now. Indeed, here is the greatest legacy we can leave the generations that will follow. As the apostle Paul urged, "And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also" (II Timothy 2:2).
