The Wayne's World movies are two of the best films ever made.
They originated in the Wayne's World comedy short on Saturday Night Live, a program about two supposed teenagers (actually 28 years of age in Wayne's World the movie) sitting in their basement in Aurora, Illinois, messing around with toys and talking about rock and roll. A rather thin basis for a film, but it turns out to be a work of genius.
