| Find and replace the R3 100R resistor on the drain of VCO MOSFET with a 470R 1%. This will increase your FM05TX PLL output up to 1100mW (1,1W). That will rise the total consumption, of the unit, a bit. You'll need ~420mA at 18VDC from your PSU. Harmonics, Spurious, Broadband perfomance, etc, will not be affected with this modification, and it will be kept at the manufacturer specifications level! Enjoy it!!! ;) |
