- Skim through the categories of information at the top of the Resources section.
- Which subjects most interest you?
- Take a quick look at the web sites in one subject.
- Evaluate a web site's usefulness to you by considering:
- reading level;
- the type of information;
- who created the source (is it a source you can trust?);
- what pictures or graphics will contribute to your knowledge.
- If the web site is useful, take notes in your own words using the Information Organizer.
- Record the URL and web site name where you find each piece of information.
- After you have collected information on one subject, go back to step one to find information on another subject.
