Al- Habachi: this name comes from al-Habacha which is a very well-known country, where formerly the al-Nadjachi ruled�. It is said that the Zandj, the Habasha, the Nouba, the Zaghawa and the Qaran are the offspring of Zaba, son of Kouch, son of Ham;
Al-Zandj: the lands of the Zandj are very well known, they are the same as the lands of the Soudan and the Zandj.
