Early Family Pictures
These pix were developed from negatives found in Dad's things shortly after his death.  I took them back to Columbus and had them developed.  Judging from John's and Ellen's ages, these must date from the early 1940s.
John, I preseume.
And that must be Ellen in Mom's arms.
Taken by someone who couldn't frame.
Isn't she cute?
I like to think these were shot in the order shown.  The negative on the right was damaged, and I repaired it electronically as best I could, but John's face still looks a little wierd.  His expression, however, is unaltered.
GRANDPARENTS
Ellen showed this to me during a recent trip to Chicago.  It's a shot of both sets of grandparents, taken at our parents' wedding in 1939.  From left to right:  Frank (Bompa) and Josephine (Nana) Wall, my father's mother (John, Bob, help me out - what was her first name?) and John T. Brusky.  I was so taken with this shot that I took it back to Columbus and scanned it.  Here it is.
Then, as now, the only beautiful one of the four!
