Underarms-Pit hairs grow in all directions, so to make sure you get them all, shave down, then side to side. Hairless pits means less B.O.

CARING FOR DRY SKIN

Keep moisture in and nourish your dry skin Dryness is a skincare challenge that requires careful maintenance and special care. Fortunately, it's a common condition you can avoid or improve with the right products and an advanced skincare routine which replenishes essential nutrients found naturally in healthy skin. This will help you keep your skin soft, smooth and glowing with vitality. And, as a general rule of thumb, look for skincare products that offer moisturizing benefits in richer, oil-based creams or lotions versus lightweight, oil-free or alcohol-based gels and liquids.

Basic skincare routine for dry skin

Cleanse-A rich cream cleanser removes grime without removing precious moisture.
Exfoliate-Limit exfoliating to twice weekly to prevent excess drynesstry a mild scrub.
Mask-Try hydrating masks with aloe or cucumber for extra moisturization on a weekly basis.
Tone-An alcohol-free toner will help hydrate the skinapply twice daily.
Moisturize-By day: Use a rich cream or emulsion. At night: Apply a rich cream before bed.

*SEASONAL SKIN CARE TIPS*

Spring- By spring, the skin is ready to shed layers of dead, flaky patches, so exfoliation will be a top priority. As the season progresses, you can shift to lighter cleansers and moisturizers in preparation for the warm months ahead, but monitor your dry skin carefullyas you grow older, it's more likely to require hydration even in the warmer months.
Summer- For many, summer is synonymous with increased outdoor activity and sun exposure. Protect your dry skin every day with moisturizing sunblock designed for the face or body and moisturizers with SPF.
Fall-Fall is a cool, refreshing transition from summer to winter and requires all the essential skincare basicsprotection from the sun, thorough hydration and exfoliation

As if we needed another reason to indulge in sweets... Sugar scrubs hydrate and exfoliate without stinging freshly shaved skin the way salt scrubs can. Try: Nikali Liquid Sugar, Fresh Brown Sugar Body Polish

*SUN SAFETY FACTS*

Summer is approaching fast and you need to know about sun safety so that your skin remains young and beautiful.
* Apply sunscreen at least one half hour before exposure to sun.
* Re-apply sunscreen regularly. Even waterproof formulas last only up to 80 minutes in the water, and then need re-application.
* Avoid the sun between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM... This is when the rays are strongest
* Always use a broad spectrum sunscreen, one that blocks out UVA and UVB rays.
* Self-Tan does NOT contain sunscreen, so make sure you apply sunprotection before going outdoors.
* Exfoliators, such as AHAs and Retin-A require sun protection on a daily basis. Use moisterizers and foundations that contain sunscreen protection.
* There is no such thing as a "safe tan", unless it's applied from a tube.

*Other Skin Tips*

Vaseline is the best and fastest way to soften skin (It also helps to soften, lengthen, and strengthen eye lashes DO YOU WANT TO GET RID OF THOSE DRY FLAKY FEET IN ONE NIGHT? Well all you have to do is put a good coat of vaseline on them, rub most of it in, then put on cotton socks..and in the morning you'll have silky smooth feet again

*For softer smoother legs, leave shaving gel on legs/underarms for 10 mintues before shaving When applying makeup or moisturizer, rub it downward. Rubbing up will stretch your skin and fill your pores with gunk, EWW!

*I have a tip to share that I've been using for a couple of years. Lately we've been seeing those facial wipes from the big companys of facial products, but I have a cheaper and more natural way of cleaning your face on the go. Use a baby wipe to freshen up your face (unscented is best) think of it, mothers use them on baby skin and they clean very well. Everytime I use them it takes the make-up off, cleans the skin good and if you want you could apply a "new face" and it looks great too.

*Sexy Glimmer*

When it comes to body glitter, a little goes a long way. To look tastefully shiny, either mix a pinch of loose, shimmering powder into your moisturizer or use one of the new body-shimmer creams. Apply to chest, shoulders, and tops of feet (if you are wearing open sandals). Try: Calvin Klein Crystals for Body.
