X and F Body subframe bushings
It's a very good idea to check and replace your rubber subframe bushings and bolts that fit between the body and the subframe. The bolt shafts are in a place that collects water and road salt. They can corrode pencil thin. The bushings will rot and may still be available from your GM dealer.
I'll post the part numbers here when I find them.
For racing and high performance use you can reduce the height of the bushings to lower the car to improve the Center of Gravity.
I fabricated these bushings from steel though aluminum could be used.
They lower the body on the subframe and stiffen the car significantly. If there is enough interest I may offer sets for sale.
