How are things on the homefront?  I am fine, just as busy as usual!  Do
you realize that at the end of next week I'll be halfway through training?
It's hard to believe!  And things are intense right now with language and
Model School!  Model School has been great so far.  The 7th graders are
good, with the exception of one class clown who seems to set the whole class
of with his performances and who happens to be in this internet cafe right
now.  He yelled, "Hello, Missus!" when he saw me.  I asked the 7th graders
what they like to do on the first day and one boy said, "Smoke Cigarrettes",
which I am sure is true and those girls wear such tight skimpy clothes!  I
think I am going to do a skit unit with them in which they write and perform
skits in groups.  The 5th grade class is my favorite and they are very
responsive with decent English skills.  The 3rd graders are very tough and
they know little English.  I think I'll do American holidays with the 5th
graders and the family with the 3rd graders.  It is fun to actually be
teaching though, especially with virtually NO resources!  A travesty for me!
It should be an interesting challenge!  It is fun though.
