Where are my photos on Flickr

If you are like me, you are probably wondering why you are not seeing your photos on Flickr.  Well, when you first open an account, someone at Flickr reviews your photos to make sure they are okay.  You need to upload at least 5 photos and the review process can take update 10 days.

Thanks to the advocate from Shoreline/Richmond Beach for finding the following information on the Flickr help pages:

"Why aren't my photos showing up?

When you sign up for Flickr, your account is marked as "pending" until Flickr administrators review it to make sure you aren't posting offensive images or junk downloaded from the Web. You must upload at least 5 public photos before your account enters the review process, which usually takes around 10 business days.

While your account is pending, your photos won't show up in public photo lists, like Everyone's Photos, pages that display all photos with a certain tag (e.g.) or on the public map for a Flickr group.

If you uploaded 5 public photos and waited more than 10 business days, but your photos still aren't showing up in public photo lists, your account has probably been marked as Not In Public Site Areas (NIPSA).

Your account will be marked NIPSA if the images you're uploading are: not photos; images you've found on the Web; screenshots; stock or celebrity photos; content that appears to be copyrighted by someone else; inappropriate for public areas or display full frontal nudity.

If your photos aren't showing up, you should also check your privacy settings, which may be preventing some people from viewing your images.

Please read our Community Guidelines for more information"
