I read all 5 of the articles about Library 2.0.  However, the question I have that doesn't seem to be answered anywhere is confirming the validity of the information. 

I can write anything I want in my blog, I can call it anything I want.  I can hold myself out as an expert on a topic and say what I want and unless someone checks my information, others could believe it!

I seems like I heard that problem with regards to Wikipedia, that some guy who had made tons of entries and held himself out as an expert turned out to be a fraud.

I know the argument is that the social networking will kick in and correct me, but there is no guarantee that will happen or that it will not negatively impact folks before the network discovers what I have been doing as in the Wikipedia case.
