I started the day winning over $50 before 9 am! We then had a nice conversation with an older gentleman here for the bowling tournament. He was drinking a beer that he had used to wash down the Aleve before he played again!
Did the title say culture???
We then had breakfast at Mel's (the franchise based on American Grafitti.)
We had a few hours before the UNC basketball game started, so we went to the Nevada Musuem of Art!
They had an Andy Warhol exhibit. It was a good exhibit. They suppled a packet of information cards with questions on each to stimulate thought and conversation.
Another exhibit they had was of a photographer who took pictures during the filming of the Misfits. She latter married Author Miller (who was married to Marilyn Monroe at the time.)
My favorite exhibit was the scholarship award winners. This was art of children in Middle and High school. There was some great art!
