Extras for XP

Robust as it is, Microsoft Windows XP is still just an operating system-a stable platform for the applications and utilities that make a PC worth using. New to the market are some applications that enhance the Windows XP experience. We decided to take a look at some to see if they're worth adding. Our first utility builds on one advantage that Microsoft has been touting: that the OS makes working with photos much easier. Windows XP's Photo Wizard lets even newbies connect a scanner or digital camera to a PC and automatically acquire images. When you want to share these images, simply right-click them to a zipped folder and e-mail them.
