I began my law enforcement career with the Parker County Sheriff's Department in Weatherford, Texas in February 1990 as a Dispatcher. In 1992 I was transferred to the Jail Division . In 1995 I was promoted to the rank of Corporal.
I graduated the Police Academy from Weatherford College in 1997 as salutatorian and secretary of my class.
I briefly left the Sheriff's Department in 1998 to get married. I also worked for the Texas Tech University Police Department in Lubbock, Texas for 2 1/2 years before returning to Parker County Sheriff's Department in October 2001.  I am currently in the Transport Division. I enjoy the traveling of the job and meeting new personnel at other law enforcement agencies.
In July 2004 as part of the Transport Division , I was assigned to the main historical courthouse downtown Weatherford, Texas. Today I am currently the bailiff for Judge Ben Akers who presides over County Court at Law #2 and courthouse security.
My hobbies include collecting police, fire, EMS and security memorabilia and patches. I also trade patches as well.
I have been married to Ric since September 1998. He received his master's degree from Texas Tech University (Go Red Raiders)?. He is my best friend and soulmate.
In January 2006 I gave birth to my first child, a son named CJ. I enjoy the time with him and my husband. I also enjoy taking care of my two cats, Spanky and Ruger.
