Elisabeth Marinelli is ecstatic about
playing the role of Anita in her first production with Port City Playhouse. Not long ago,
Elisabeth made her Alexandria debut as Marion in The
Little Theater of Alexandria’s “The Heiress.”
Professionally, she most recently portrayed Feste in
“Twelfth Night” with The Richmond Shakespeare Festival, for
which, she also composed and performed the musical score. Among others,
her favorite roles include, Mrs. Johnstone in “Blood
Brothers,” Golde in “Fiddler on the Roof,” Polly in
“Play On!,” Dabby in “Our
Country’s Good,” Anna in “On the Third Day,” and Mae Peterson in “Bye! Bye! Birdie!” Elisabeth earned degrees in both Dramatic
Arts and Psychology from St. Mary’s College of Maryland where she also met
Christian, her husband of two and a half years. They now live in Ashburn.
Elisabeth would like to thank God, her family, and friends, for their
everlasting love and support. And thank you to Suni
for including her in such a wonderful team.
