Finalmente de las fechas de que había dado Ste para presentar en vivo sus nuevos temas del primer disco en solitario que tiene previsto sacar a la venta próximamente, quedó sólo una:

Fue un gran día, y además con sorpresa. Fueron Christian y Mark a apoyar a su amigo, que además de presentar los principales temas que compondrán su disco, y versionar "Roxanne" de The Police, "Come Together" de los Beatles, y "Are you gonna go my way" de Lenny Kravitz, y "Nutbush city limits", en la que se lució con la guitarra, mientras cantaba uno de los de su banda, se atrevió a versionar el éxito de BBMak "Out of my heart". No es la primera vez que lo hace, en un show que dio para un programa de radio tocó también "Still on your side" y "Back here". Pero precísamente al final del pequeño concierto quiso invitar a Mark y a Christian a subir al escenario, para que cantaran con él "Back here". Ellos cantaron con él, y aunque solo tocaba Ste su guitarra, podemos decir que BBMak volvió por un día, por una canción, los 3 juntos en un escenario. Aunque fuera simplemente una gran sorpresa para los y las fans allí presentes, recordar viejos tiempos y apoyar a Ste.

STE ANUNCIA LA SALIDA DE SU DISCO

En su Myspace ha anunciado en un blog que en junio se espera la publicación de su álbum debut. Todavía no se sabe el título, pero el sello va a ser Appleshed. Está grabandolo junto al productor Alan Murrell en Lancashire (Inglaterra), en Red Cat Studios. Las canciones para el álbum son:

Let It All Out
I Got You

Ya habíamos podido escuchar algunas canciones, aunque fuera en versión demo. Sorprende la no inclusión de "The Only One" y "Reason For Breathing", por calidad musical.
Poned atención porque podeis reservar el disco por adelantado mandándole un email a su Myspace indicándole vuestra dirección postal y ya se os hará llegar la forma de pago. Además los 1000 primeros pedidos tendrán el disco autografiado por él; y dice que irá anunciando en la página los shows de presentación que haga por Inglaterra de sus canciones.

Regularmente va a subir cosas de BBMak. Música, vídeos, noticias de lo que están haciendo ellos ahora...

En www.stemak.co.uk ya podemos disfrutar de 4 canciones más: The Only One y Reason For Breathing, en versión definitiva; y Alive (que ya habíamos escuchado en versión eléctrica) y Angels Over New York en versión demo acústica.
La canción Reason For Breathing ya la había subido al primer Myspace Music que creó: www.myspace/stemcnallymusic, pero poca gente pudo escucharla desde ahí.
Angels Over New York es supuestamente la que anteriormente habíamos dicho que se titulaba Angels Over.

www.myspace.com/stemakofficial va a ser el único Myspace que mantendrá Ste. Eliminará los demás una vez que todo el mundo esté avisado de cual es el importante y oficial.

Hay 3 nuevas canciones de Ste en acústico en su página web oficial: www.stemak.co.uk.
Los títulos son: Suicide, Beautiful Scars y Catch Me If You Can.
A partir del 1 de marzo seguramente se van a poder escuchar desde ahí más canciones de su nuevo material.
Al final la canción que creíamos que se iba a llamar Catch It If You Can se llama Catch Me If You Can. Otro título que está en las candidatas de estar en su nuevo disco es Drive. (según www.ste-mcnally.net).
Estas son las 14 canciones de las que conocemos los títulos, varias de ellos hemos podido escuchar (en acústico o en versión eléctrica). Ya veremos más adelante cual es el tracklisting definitivo, los descartes que puede haber y si hay alguna nueva canción más.

Ste ya tiene su página web oficial lista. Visita www.stemak.co.uk, donde se presenta con el nombre oficial de Ste Mak.
Está planeando hacer una gira en acústico por los Estados Unidos, con unas pocas fechas para el Reino Unido, mientras da los últimos retoques a su nuevo material. Parece ser que parte de este material se podrá escuchar en la propia web el 1 de Marzo.

Además tiene un nuevo Myspace: www.myspace.com/stemakofficial, que va a ser el Myspace oficial de su carrera en solitario. El sonido del disco va a ser más o menos como hubiera sido el tercer disco de BBMak, después de Into Your Head. Supongo que será un disco de Modern Rock, Rock/Pop/Brit Pop.

05/11/05 - NEWS UPDATE!! - Well it's been a summer of change for Ste.. he parted company with his previous manager and is now in the process of signing up with a new one. He's talking to a few record companies, so fingers crossed it won't be too long before a deal is sorted and his album is released... and *RUMOUR ALERT* some accoustic shows may be announced sooner rather than later...!

13/11/05 - Alrighty, Ste's 'MySpace' page is up - so go check it out at www.myspace.com/mcnallyste - add him as a friend and go spread the word that he's back! No music uploaded as yet - he's waiting on MySpace changing his profile to a band one - but keep checking back as hopefully that'll happen soon! Well... glad to hear you're all loving 'Time Is Running Out' - it's only a little taster of what is to come from Ste's album! Incidently, the fabulous backing vocals on the track were provided by Ste's cousin Michelle Lawson, and the demo was recorded in Liverpool with fellow scouser Ronnie O'Keefe.

Big Ste news!!! This comes straight from Gill from the new official information filled site Ste McNally Online has great news about Ste making his live debut as a solo artist:

Ok... it's happening... May 18th (not 17th as previously rumoured) is
the big day and Zanzibar Club in Liverpool is the place to be - see ya
there!!

(and for those that can't be there, hopefully I can bring a report,
pics and maybe even a video clip to the website shortly afterwards!)

Gill from the Ste McNally Promo Team has sent an update regarding Ste's album. Here's what her e-mail said:

Hello - I know its been a while, but bringing you a round-up of Ste
news so everyone is completely up-to-date with what's happening with
him at the moment.

The album is finished, everything is going according to plan and it
is attracting label attention - I'll be keeping you all posted as
things start to progress, however, rest assured it's all looking very
promising! I've been priviledged enough to hear a few finished
tracks, and trust me, it's going to be worth the long wait you've all
had. Your patience and loyalty has been much appreciated during the
quiet spell.. and you're in for a real treat once Ste's material goes
public.

Word on the street is that he's busy at the moment rehearsing a live
band - and fingers crossed May will see him debut his new material
with some low key shows in the Liverpool area...

More news as and when it happens! I'm gonna be stepping up the action
in the forthcoming weeks.. and soon I'll be bringing you a website
where you'll be able to check out all the latest Ste news and pics...
Please note however this won't be his 'official' site - that will
come at a later date.. this site will merely be a fan-site to be used
in the interim.
