Por una parte, Inhaler, la banda de Christian, ha cambiado su nombre. Ahora se llaman The Bleach Works (El tinte de rubio funciona).
Sacará nuevo disco en 2009, después de un año de colaboraciones de Christian Burns con música electrónica (Tiesto, Allure).

Sobre Ste, el disco en solitario que tenía preparado al final no llegó a salir, y fue eliminado sorprendentemente a las primeras de cambio en el primer casting oficial del programa de televisión de talentos de Inglaterra Factor X, pero ahora se lanzará como duo, Harper Mak, con la compañía de la cantante Lou Harper. No sabemos todavía cual será su papel, pero puedes echar un vistazo aquí: http://www.myspace.com/harpermak , su myspace oficial.

Mark se anima a lanzarse a la música, pero no será como solista sino como banda de Funk/Jazz/Soul. Se llaman Fresno y puedes disfrutar de 2 de sus nuevas canciones AQUI. Aún no han firmado contrato discográfico, pero Mark es el solista.

How are the things going to the former BBMak members?

In the one hand, Inhaler, Christian's band, has changed its name. Now they're called The Bleach Works.
They are due to bring out an album in 2009, after a year of Christian Burn's featurings with electronic music (Tiesto, Allure).

About Ste, the solo album was supposed to put on at last didn't come out, and he failed surprisingly in the first official casting to enter to the English TV music talent show The X Factor but now he want to launch himself as a duet, Harper Mak, along to the singer Lou Harper. We don't know what his role will be yet, but you can check it out here: http://www.myspace.com/harpermak , its official myspace.

Mark is ready to embark into a definite musical project, although he will no longer be as a solo artist but as Funk/Jazz/Soul group. They are called Fresno and you can enjoy two of their new songs HERE. They haven't signed a record deal yet, but Mark seems to be the frontman lead singer.

Mark vuelve a la música

Mark Barry por fin ha aparecido en Myspace, con su única y verdadera cuenta (los demás que había en el Myspace diciendo ser él eran falsos):

Y ya tiene colgadas 4 canciones, que parece ser que es parte del trabajo que venía haciendo hasta ahora, con tranquilidad y sin salir a la luz con noticias. Son canciones de puro sonido R&B y Soul del que más le gusta a él.
Se llaman I wanna make you my life, Never too late, I got time y Hold on to me. (Estas 2 últimas son demos).
A ver si próximamente sabemos más noticias de él y si tiene proyectos cercanos en la música. Es una gran noticia!!

Finalmente de las fechas de que había dado Ste para presentar en vivo sus nuevos temas del primer disco en solitario que tiene previsto sacar a la venta próximamente, quedó sólo una:

Fue un gran día, y además con sorpresa. Fueron Christian y Mark a apoyar a su amigo, que además de presentar los principales temas que compondrán su disco, y versionar "Roxanne" de The Police, "Come Together" de los Beatles, y "Are you gonna go my way" de Lenny Kravitz, y "Nutbush city limits", original de Tina Turner, en la que se lució con la guitarra, mientras cantaba uno de los de su banda, se atrevió a versionar el éxito de BBMak "Out of my heart". No es la primera vez que lo hace, en un show que dio para un programa de radio tocó también "Still on your side" y "Back here". Pero precísamente al final del pequeño concierto quiso invitar a Mark y a Christian a subir al escenario, para que cantaran con él "Back here". Ellos cantaron con él, y aunque solo tocaba Ste su guitarra, podemos decir que BBMak volvió por un día, por una canción, los 3 juntos en un escenario. Aunque fuera simplemente una gran sorpresa para los y las fans allí presentes, recordar viejos tiempos y apoyar a Ste.

Tiësto cambió las fechas para su gira "Elements Of Life", que ya comenzó, en su página web. Estas son las definitivas que faltan por celebrarse todavía , y Christian recordemos que le acompaña para poner voz a la canción "In The Dark":

STE ANUNCIA LA SALIDA DE SU DISCO

En su Myspace ha anunciado en un blog que en junio se espera la publicación de su álbum debut. Todavía no se sabe el título, pero el sello va a ser Appleshed. Está grabandolo junto al productor Alan Murrell en Lancashire (Inglaterra), en Red Cat Studios. Las canciones para el álbum son:

Ya habíamos podido escuchar algunas canciones, aunque fuera en versión demo. Sorprende la no inclusión de "The Only One" y "Reason For Breathing", por calidad musical.
Poned atención porque podeis reservar el disco por adelantado mandándole un email a su Myspace indicándole vuestra dirección postal y ya se os hará llegar la forma de pago. Además los 1000 primeros pedidos tendrán el disco autografiado por él; y dice que irá anunciando en la página los shows de presentación que haga por Inglaterra de sus canciones.

Ste ha creado el Myspace oficial de BBMak. www.myspace.com/bbmakofficial
Regularmente va a subir cosas de BBMak. Música, vídeos, noticias de lo que están haciendo ellos ahora...

Nos hemos enterado de grandes noticias. Christian hace su primera gran aparición en el mundo de la música después de la separación de BBMak. Tras aparecer en las Bandas sonoras de las películas "Sky High" en 2005 como cantante solista con "Everybody wants to rule the world" y de "Little Athens" en 2006, como su proyecto "Inhaler" con "Tranquilized". Ahora se trata de una canción del DJ holandés Tiësto, uno de los grandes de la música electrónica, llamada "In The Dark (featuring Christian Burns)", siendo ya el primer single que se incluirá en el nuevo disco de Tiesto, que sale el 10 de Abril y se va a llamar "Elements of life". En este tema pone la voz Christian Burns, y ya podeis ver el videoclip aquí:

Este puede ser el paso definitivo para que Inhaler firmen contrato con un sello discográfico. Y todo fue gracias a los contactos del Myspace del grupo.

March 5, 2007 - DJ and electronic musician Tiesto will be releasing Elements Of Life on April 10, 2007.

"I am very excited about my new album and the new single "In The Dark," exclaims Tiesto. "It's a very experimental piece of work and combines the style of rock with trance and electronic. The vocals are done by Christian Burns who I met through Myspace. This is the first time that I have combined these different genres; I have always liked rock music so it made sense."

In addition to his MySpace connections, the album will also feature guest shots from Maxi Jazz of Faithless, fellow DJ/electronic musician BT (Brian Transeau), singer/songwriter Charlotte Martin, vocalist Julie Thompson, and JES.

Por fin Christian volvió a escribir un bulletin en el Myspace, donde dice que todavía no ha firmado por ningún sello discográfico, pero ha subido a su reproductor una canción de su grupo que nunca habíamos escuchado: "Back To The End". Hace mucho que no subía nueva música pero ha estado ocupado clasificando sus canciones. Por otra parte, ha quitado para descargar las canciones "Clinical" y "Tranquilized", pero a cambio ha puesto de nuevo para que podamos disfrutar "Love Is Suicide".

Llegaron los 20000 amigos en el Myspace, y como prometió, hay regalo de Burns para todo el mundo: está disponible para descargar gratuitamente en su reproductor la canción "Clinical", así que corre antes de que llegues tarde y la quite.
Por otra parte nos consta que hay varias canciones a las que tiene aprecio y debe considerarlas importantes, teniendo en cuenta las veces que han estado disponibles para escuchar, y ahora también un par para bajar, estas son: "Something About You", "Out There", "Shimmer", "Clinical" y "Tranquilized". Esa importancia suponemos que quedará reflejada en el disco, con la inclusión por lo menos de estos temas.

Vamos a hacer promoción de Inhaler, con este banner animado que ha hecho Christian.

Christian no va a hacer carrera en solitario, va a ser parte de una nueva banda llamada "Inhaler", de la cual será el cantante del grupo. Ha sido una sorpresa, sólo sabíamos que trabajaba con músicos pero parecía que se iba a lanzar como cantante solista.
Ayer en un Blog publicado en Myspace quiso decirlo públicamente;desde aquí le deseamos suerte con su grupo.

Comenta que después de un par de años escribiendo y pensando, ha tomado esta decisión. Aún no han firmado con ningún sello discográfico, pero no tardarán en hacerlo por lo que no sabe cuando saldrá el disco, aunque tiene el presentimiento de que será pronto porque las cosas van bien. El 2 de abril tienen su primer Photoshoot como grupo.
Ha conseguido gracias al Myspace difundir su música y ha conseguido casi 12000 amigos. Él mantendrá a partir de ahora ese Myspace como Myspace de Inhaler, y se ha creado otro propio, donde también promocionará a su grupo. Y hay muchas más canciones que le gustaría compartir y lo hará poco a poco.

Ya hemos escuchado bastante material de ellos por lo que podemos ver que sí, que tiene razón en la música que fusionará.

Se ha despedido diciendo que las cosas van agitadas en su vida, que se ha separado de la compañía de su manager y que ahora está haciendo las cosas solo hasta que encuentre un adecuado sustituto. Lee todos los mensajes que le llegan pero siente no poder responder a todos. En el momento de escribir el blog nos ha hecho llegar que estaba escuchando el disco: "Death Cab for Cutie", del grupo "Plans".

just wanted to say a huge thank-you to all of you who have been leaving me comments and also to those of you who have put my banner up! its really made a huge difference so thanks for that.

after a couple years of writing and thinking, i have made the decision that i will be releasing my latest project under the name "inhaler".

i will have pics up very soon of inhaler, i am just putting the final touches to the project. i have my first photo-shoot as inhaler on 2nd april. so it wont be that long untill you see the band for yourself! i will still be maintaining this site as inhaler for the time being, so please keep those comments coming!

as far as the question "when is your album coming out?" i can not answer you at this time because i am still unsigned as of yet, i have been making a few changes in my team. so there has been a few things going on my end that i have had to tend to. however, its all systems go now! and i get the feeling good things are gonna happen soon....

i hope you have enjoyed the music i have had on here so far guys, there are plenty more songs i would like to share with you and i will in time.

Antes de salir a beber un poco de vodka, Christian ha subido a su Myspace la octava canción que podría estar en su disco, de título "Clinical", que ha sido producida por él mismo, parece ser que en su estudio.

Le hice saber mis reviews a él hace unos días, antes de escuchar la última canción. Esto es lo que puse:

-SOMETHING ABOUT YOU: Strong and catchy song, it would be perfect as the first single and it represents your Electro-British Rock sound of your songs

-OUT THERE: Since the beginning you see is a great song, a little more calm but powered too and more crazy tune in a fantasy universe. It's so Electro-Psichodelic. It would be a good single

-SHIMMER: It's the ballad. Always in your player (demo and definitive mix). It must be important for you. Qualitied melodie and production to be single.

-LOVE IS SUICIDE: I like the voice of the verses and it's one of my faves. In this song there is great work of drums, which leads the beats.

-WONDERFUL LIFE: Powerful riff which leads the song. I think your music will triunph in the British indie Rock scene.

-MERCURY: The electronic instruments and the synthesizers win the battle here. Maybe the greatest melodie and emotion!!!!!!! Don't forget this amazing song please

En www.stemak.co.uk ya podemos disfrutar de 4 canciones más: The Only One y Reason For Breathing, en versión definitiva; y Alive (que ya habíamos escuchado en versión eléctrica) y Angels Over New York en versión demo acústica.
La canción Reason For Breathing ya la había subido al primer Myspace Music que creó: www.myspace/stemcnallymusic, pero poca gente pudo escucharla desde ahí.
Angels Over New York es supuestamente la que anteriormente habíamos dicho que se titulaba Angels Over.

www.myspace.com/stemakofficial va a ser el único Myspace que mantendrá Ste. Eliminará los demás una vez que todo el mundo esté avisado de cual es el importante y oficial.

Christian ha añadido otra canción a su Myspace, se llama "Wonderful Life". Hemos podido escuchar ya 7 canciones de él que podrían estar en su disco debut, si excluimos el cover que hizo de "Everybody Wants To Rule The World", que ya fue parte de una Banda Sonora y además era una canción de su anterior sello Hollwwood Records. Estos son los titulos de las canciones:

Con todo este ya nos hacemos a la idea de como puede sonar el disco. Su música suena más o menos como: Electro/Rock/Brit Pop, donde se conjugan a la vez la electrónica, el Rock independiente inglés y la psicodelia.

Hay 3 nuevas canciones de Ste en acústico en su página web oficial: www.stemak.co.uk.
Los títulos son: Suicide, Beautiful Scars y Catch Me If You Can.
A partir del 1 de marzo seguramente se van a poder escuchar desde ahí más canciones de su nuevo material.
Al final la canción que creíamos que se iba a llamar Catch It If You Can se llama Catch Me If You Can. Otro título que está en las candidatas de estar en su nuevo disco es Drive. (según http://www.ste-mcnally.net/).
Estas son las 14 canciones de las que conocemos los títulos, varias de ellos hemos podido escuchar (en acústico o en versión eléctrica). Ya veremos más adelante cual es el tracklisting definitivo, los descartes que puede haber y si hay alguna nueva canción más.

Ste ya tiene su página web oficial lista. Visita www.stemak.co.uk, donde se presenta con el nombre oficial de Ste Mak.
Está planeando hacer una gira en acústico por los Estados Unidos, con unas pocas fechas para el Reino Unido, mientras da los últimos retoques a su nuevo material. Parece ser que parte de este material se podrá escuchar en la propia web el 1 de Marzo.

Además tiene un nuevo Myspace: www.myspace.com/stemakofficial, que va a ser el Myspace oficial de su carrera en solitario. El sonido del disco va a ser más o menos como hubiera sido el tercer disco de BBMak, después de Into Your Head. Supongo que será un disco de Modern Rock, Rock/Pop/Brit Pop.

El primer single de Christian parece ser que no verá la luz hasta finales del verano de este año, según ha puesto en su Myspace, en la sección About Me, esto es lo que ha añadido:

Hoy, 18 de enero, es el cumpleaños de Christian. Le hemos dedicado con un blend la portada de la web y desde aquí le deseamos lo mejor para este año 2006.

05/11/05 - NEWS UPDATE!! - Well it's been a summer of change for Ste.. he parted company with his previous manager and is now in the process of signing up with a new one. He's talking to a few record companies, so fingers crossed it won't be too long before a deal is sorted and his album is released... and *RUMOUR ALERT* some accoustic shows may be announced sooner rather than later...!

Se llama "Shimmer", y además ha escrito su 2º blog, donde ha anunciado que en 6 semanas traera buenas noticias, aunque ha roto con la discográfica Hollywood Records, que no se adaptaba mucho a lo que el buscaba en su carrera; eso sí, pacíficamente.
Por lo que se ve, va a buscarse un hueco en el lado Indie, un Electro Rock/Pop muy de las islas británicas.

just thought i would give you all a little update as to whats going on with me.....well, after many years of being an artist signed to hollywood records it's time for me to move on, i am not with them any more, i have a lot of good friends there but it just wasn't the right label for me and my music....... it's all good, i am happy and excited for the future of my music. i have a wicked album vertualy ready to release and i have a band ready to go on the road!!! i had my first gig in nearly THREE YEARS the other day!!!....the gig was for some major record labels and lets just say....it went fantastic! i dont wanna say to much at the moment because i don't wanna jinx anythin lol, but i hope to have some good news for you guys in about 6 weeks or so.

thanks for all your kind words and messages, i really am so glad to have all your support right now.

if you could help me out by spreading the word about my page i would be very greatful!

and keep the comments coming...you know, "oh christian you are better than superman", "oh christian what big eye's you have" ... etc.

hey hello there, just wanted to try this "blog" thingy out......please ignore all the spulling meestakes.

well, the record is very nearly done, i know its taking forever but i just gotta make sure its spot on, i gotta come back with a bang.....and that means attention to detail. the two tracks i put up on here are gonna be on the record and they are a good reflection of what the record is gonna sound like......live drums, Lots of guitars, and lots of electric things.... had an amazing time in san fran with jeff, he is a star!!! he really inspired me a lot in the studio and i am happy that i got to work with him.... i am sure we will work on stuff again!!! yeah, san fran was cool, the studio was in oakland, the place greenday wrote the whole last album....really vibey and a great burrito shop next door .........

i know the record is quite a bit away from where i was at with bbmak but i really think thats just what i needed to do. i hope i have not dissapointed any of you, it was just time to move on.......

"After enjoying success with the platinum selling band BBMak I took a year out to consider the direction my music would take. I have been hard at work in the studio for the past nine months mostly in Manchester England, New York and LA working on my forthcoming debut solo record. I have most recently been in the studio in San Francisco with Jeff Saltzman (The Killers/Green Day) cutting the record and I hope to have it finished sometime 2005 for release soon after. i am in the process of getting some of my music up on here as soon as i sort a few details out (legal stuff/boring stuff). cant wait to start letting people hear my music and i cant wait to get out on the road. i know this seems to be taking a long time, i am working my ass off in the studio..... it wont be much longer now. stick with me. and please feel free to spread the word around and help me get as many chums on here as possible! anyway ciao for now. cheers christian".

Hello all, hope all is well. Been busy in the studio finishing the new record, I know its taken a while but it's all good! Been waiting to get mixes done, and I am starting this week with Alan Moulder (killers/ Depeche Mode/NIN/U2) who is gonna be mixing three tracks. I am off to London in the morning to start mixing. It is very exciting for me to work with him as I am a big fan of his work. Also, the Sky High soundtrack is out tomorrow with my version of "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" on it, think it's track 4, check it out! www.skyhighsoundtrack.com

Hey guys, hope you are well.... I have just got back to the uk after spending six weeks in the states recording my record. Was in NYC for a couple weeks working with Jonnie most and then i went back over to San Fran where i was in the studio with Jeff Saltzman again. We recorded seven more songs and they all sound awsome! Pretty much finished recording the record now, just a few little things to finish here and there and need to get the whole thing mixed now. It's great to be back home and I am just enjoying some time off with the family right now, making the most of it because i know soon enough I will be very very busy again!!!!

Oh yeah, just recorded a version of the Tears for Fears track "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" for a movie called "Sky High", think its gonna be out late summer but you know how these dates always change, so keep your eyes out for that. I will report back in a few weeks when i have some more news for you.

Well... glad to hear you're all loving 'Time Is Running Out' - it's only a little taster of what is to come from Ste's album! Incidently, the fabulous backing vocals on the track were provided by Ste's cousin Michelle Lawson, and the demo was recorded in Liverpool with fellow scouser Ronnie O'Keefe.

Big Ste news!!! This comes straight from Gill from the new official information filled site Ste McNally Online has great news about Ste making his live debut as a solo artist:

After enjoying success with the platinum selling band BBMak I took a year out to consider the direction my music would take. I have been hard at work in the studio for the past nine months mostly in Manchester England, New York and LA working on my forthcoming debut solo record. I have most recently been in the studio in San Francisco with Jeff Saltzman (The Killers/Green Day) cutting the record and I hope to have it finished by the end of May 2005 for release Autumn 2005. I will be keeping you all up to date on what's going on by posting a journal on this site instead of the updates I have been putting up on the forum. My full website will be finished closer to the release of the record. Thank you very much for all your ongoing support and watch this space for more news and info on my solo project.

Gill from the Ste McNally Promo Team has sent an update regarding Ste's album. Here's what her e-mail said:

Hello - I know its been a while, but bringing you a round-up of Ste
news so everyone is completely up-to-date with what's happening with
him at the moment.

The album is finished, everything is going according to plan and it
is attracting label attention - I'll be keeping you all posted as
things start to progress, however, rest assured it's all looking very
promising! I've been priviledged enough to hear a few finished
tracks, and trust me, it's going to be worth the long wait you've all
had. Your patience and loyalty has been much appreciated during the
quiet spell.. and you're in for a real treat once Ste's material goes
public.

Word on the street is that he's busy at the moment rehearsing a live
band - and fingers crossed May will see him debut his new material
with some low key shows in the Liverpool area...

More news as and when it happens! I'm gonna be stepping up the action
in the forthcoming weeks.. and soon I'll be bringing you a website
where you'll be able to check out all the latest Ste news and pics...
Please note however this won't be his 'official' site - that will
come at a later date.. this site will merely be a fan-site to be used
in the interim.

well hello all, wow it has been a long time! er, sorry for the long gap in messages.... i have been in a writing/recording zone for a while now and at last i can report that my record is almost finished!!! it's going great. i have been spending alot of time writing in new york and a lot of time recording in san fran. i just have to record about another 5 tracks now and then i will be done as i have allready recorded 8! i hope to get back out on the road mid summer time and i am very very excited about that.... i have been working with a great producer called jeff saltzman over in san fransisco (he produced the killers most recently) we really had great chemistry in the studio and the stuff is sounding awsome!! its got guitars big drums and synths, rock/electronic. oh, and lots of catchy bits!!! dont have a title for the record yet, so i will have to get back to you on that one.... i am in the uk finishing some tunes off at the moment and then i will be off to san fran for the last recording session for the record. hope to have it finished by may 1st (ish).

had a great meeting over at the record company the other week, should have my website up and running in the next couple of weeks, i will let you know. anyway, off to bed now..... i have a hangover.
