September 30th - The "Scoop": The Best in Innvesstigative Sports Reporting Just in from "Actual Information News" We have just heard from the "Scoop's" agent, Snuffoluffagus Grover, that the "Scoop" has been killed in a Grizzly Bear hunting accident in Alaska. The "Scoop", age and last name unknown, was revered for his in your face writing style. Always brutally honest and often times out of the blue, the "Scoop" has been a sport's fan favorite for several years now. Always undercover and always near the action, "Scoop" often times would casually talk with friends and family of professional athletes. "Scoop" was best known for his coverage of "Cork Bowl" as well as his outdoor articles, and maybe most well known for his column in Bull Rider Monthly. "Scoop" was aparently hunting
with the Adams Boys for elk. "Scoop" had apparently shot a near
world record bull elk and was field dressing it when a Grizzly snuck up
from behind and attacked. "Scoop" was said to have fought the
bear tooth and nail with nothing other than a swiss army knife. Although
"Scoop" was announced dead at the site, the Grizzly bear was only
able to make it about 100 yards away before dying from a severe paper cut,
said to have been given to the bear by "Scoop's" hunting liscense.
""Scoop" went out with a fight, to give an animal a paper
cut so deep that the bear bled to death is the sure sign of a fighter."
