Kirby Newell Thanks League; Answers Questions

Hello Cork Bowlers,

Wow, I would like to take a minute and just thank the league for all that they are doing for me. It's an honor to have all of the attention that I'm getting, no matter how deserving it is. I'm very excited about Saturday and look forward to yet another exciting and entertaining game. I know that Chris Cork will put on a brillant performance and that others (who shall remain nameless) will have their usual poor game. However, that is what makes Cork Bowl great - some players stepping up and others sitting down.

I was reading the Cork Bowl webpage today and saw that Greg Howard and Reggie Truitt had made some crazy accusations against me. Well, I'm above responding to such trash and such trashy people. First of all, everybody knows that I'm not able to travel more than an hour in a car, so I couldn't have been in Indianapolis. By the way Greg, you have a friend who is a gay stripper???? When you say friend, do you mean boyfriend?? As for Reggie making accusations about me and "Scoop", well that's just crazy. I've met "Scoop" once and he was a great guy from what I gathered. However, we all know that I'm not gay. I honestly believe that Reggie is making these accusations because he asked me out on a date and I turned him down because I'm not gay. You would think that Reggie would be nice to me because I have chosen not to testify against him in the school's case against him. I will stand by that decision because I'm a true friend and do not feel that
Reggie's sexual preference interferes with his ability to teach as long as he is not preaching for it. Therefore Reg, I forgive you. Greg, I forgive you too.

Once again, I'd like to thank everyone for planning such a great dedication to me on Saturday. I look forward to it greatly. I'd also like to thank Chris and Greg for dedicating their performances to me. I know that one of you is capable of performing up to my standards!

Sincerely,

Kirby Newell #2 but #1 in your hearts
