PCN Panthers v.s Edmond Santa Fe/Memorial Wolves
Bethany, OK- On the chilly monday night the PCN panthers played thier 2nd game of the season versus the Edmond Santa Fe/ Memorial Wolves. The 1st period started out as a stand off the 2 teams battling back and forth but most of the play was in the Wolves zone. The 2nd period was when the Panthers started scoring. Senior center Robb Benhoff scored 3 unanswered rebound goals from shots by Jr. Brian Rickard and Sophomore Justus Shepherd. The 3rd period was an event full period, with Edmond getting many differant penaltys the Panthers scored 5 more goals past edmond goalie Hobie Conley. The goals were scored by Robb Benhoff (2), Justus Shepherd (1), and Junior Chris Anderson (1). PCN goalie Landon Proctor faced only 4 shots the whole PCN controlled game, Proctor obviously achieved a shutout for this game. The next game will be a week from Thanksgiving at Arctic Edge versus Edmond Santa Fe/Memorial for a re-match, Edmond defenseman Chris Pointer is also suspended for the next game. The Panthers are at the same point as they were last year after 2 games, 1-1-0.
