PC MOB 1985

In 1986, a new "Mob" would entered the scene in Port Charles.  Until this time we were used to seeing a "Mafia" type mob. However in 1985 the Chinese Mob entered Port Charles under the leadership of Mr. Wu.

The New York City Police returned 2 stolen Jade Buddhas to Mr. Wu the owner.  Who in turn was required to return them to the "Ancient One".  The "Ancient One" says that the true worth of the statues is in the black pearls that are hidden inside.

But the pearls are missing.  They were to be used by the "Ancient One" to help the Asian people of Port Charles and to help finance the purchase of a cannery there.

Mr. Wu thinks that Anna and Robert Scorpio have them so he tells Kim his grandson to get them.

Wu's grand-daughter Jade is a student nurse at General Hospital.  She meets Dr. Yang Se-Chung who is known by the nickname of Yank.

Jade introduces her brother, Kim to Frisco who recognizes him as the person that stole Robin's doll.

Yank's brother, Tey is hit by a car.  Frisco goes undercover in the Asian Quarter and soon finds out that there is a common thread between Robin's doll being stolen and the black pearls.

Robin runs away and finds her doll and goes to the "Ancient One".  Turns out that Robin had replaced her doll's eyes with the black pearls.  The "Ancient One" gives the black pearls to Olin for safe keeping.

Kim kidnaps the "Ancient One" and Robin in hopes of getting whoever has the black pearls to come out in the open.

Anna and Robert set up a place to meet with the kidnappers at the Bamboo Bar.  Little did they know, but Robin and the "Ancient One" were in a hidden room behind the bar.

Frisco tries to get Olin to give up the pearls.  Robin and the "Ancient One" are found.  The "Ancient One" takes the pearls, gets cash and purchases the cannery.

Sean Donnelly and Yank destroy Mr. Wu's drug empire.  And Yank kills Kim.

Jade goes blind when she hears about her brother and grandfather.Wu confesses to Jade and she recovers.
