PC MOB  1979

Luke and his partner, Roy DiLuca, are offered the Campus Disco to run.  The Disco is a front for the Mob that is headed by, Frank Smith.

Roy DiLuca is Bobbie (Luke’s sister) on again/off again boyfriend.  He appears to be an honest and respectable businessman.

Frank Smith offers the Disco so that it can be used as a tool to launder money for the organization.

Running the Disco would give Luke the money, recognition and power that he had always wanted.

Smith could see the Luke was up for the experience.  As Gary Warner puts it, “Frank and Luke were a match made in hell.”

Luke would meet the love of his life at the Disco, Laura Webber Baldwin.  And as the saying goes, once they met the rest was history.

Tracy Quartermaine learns that her father, Edward won’t give her any money until she is married. So she marries, Mitch Williams (real name Wilenski).  What she doesn’t know is that he is a mob connected attorney.  Mitch decides to run for State Senate even though he is still connected to the mob. He isn’t worried as he has Tracy’s money to finance his campaign.  But using her money she insists that he “crack down on the organization in Port Charles.”

The Campus Disco is a popular meeting place.  So popular that fitness guru, Richard Simmons held classes there during the day.  Luke and Roy try to keep the Disco legit but Smith decides to take a more intimate interest in it.

Bobbie and Roy become engaged and she becomes a full-time nurse.

Frank Smith wants to test Luke’s loyalty by having him murder Mitch Williams on election night. But Luke has a feeling that he would also be killed.  And that if he refused it would hold the same out come.

Mitch Williams thinks that it is Roy DiLuca that is his would be assassin.  So he calls Luke and warns him that if “Roy tries anything, he is a dead man.

Luke buy life insurance to take care of Bobbie and Ruby should anything happen to him.  Laura overhears a conversation of Luke and Mitch’s and takes Luke’s keys and throws them away to keep him from going to the election festivities.

Luke calls Roy to pick him up.  But Roy decides to do the job himself.  Roy fires a shot a Mitch, who is in a glass elevator, barely wounding him.  Security guards shot Roy and he dies in Bobbie’s arms.

Luke and Bobbie get away and make up a story to save Luke’s life.  He vows to make the Mob pay.
