| I. Important Message about Plagiarism. I feel the text below is of extreme importance. My Site has faced some serious measures of plagiarism, and here is some information on that subject. In my own words, my thoughts on plagiarism are quite simple. Don't plagiarize. For those of you who do not know, plagiarism is to take someone's words, graphics or ideas as if they were your own. Yes, this applies to my Web Site. Internet Plagiarism is the most common form. Now, so that you Viewers can better understand where I am coming from, picture this scenario. Pretend you spent years, months, weeks, and days working to build your Site from scratch. You understand the amount of difficulty and patience that ties itself into Web Design. Now, after all this hard work, you turn around to discover someone has made an almost identical copy of your work. You feel betrayed! You repeat to yourself over and over, "It's not right to take things that are not given to you." Trust me, in the world of Web Design, that's a golden rule. So, I have decided that the only way you may use any of the content on my Site is through mailing me firsthand. If you mail me and I do not respond, you do not have full permission until I give a say-so. My last resort was to build this Site with scripts keeping Viewers from plagiarism; however, it has come to just that. To me it has been extremely upsetting to see Viewers taking my ideas, graphics, text and Web layout in general! This Site was designed from an original thought. I am appalled and truly hurt that some of you have taken such ideas without my authorization firsthand. For those who have taken any ideas from my layout [the look and feel], graphics [pictures], or text [word usage] without permission, I ask that you please remove it from your Site. I do indeed have a list of those who have asked for permission. II. General Policy. "Patrick Levis: Our brother in Christ" respects the privacy of the visitors to www.geocities.com/PCLevis (this "Web Site"). As a general policy, no personal information is automatically collected from users of the Site. This information is primarily used for internal purposes, and only in an aggregate and non-personally-identifying form. However, I sometimes do provide this information, in aggregate and non-personally identifying form, to other parties for marketing, advertising or other use.
