| If there's one thing that my heart feels strongly burdened about, it would have to be the suffering children of the world. Why is this so? Because Jesus loves the little chidren of the world. Yes, the first song that probably just rang in your head is the Sunday school rhyme, "Jesus Loves the little Children." But, I would like to sway you toward what the bible says. Which is this: "Let the children come to Me..." Mark 19:14. Jesus said this to His disciples when they pushed away young children who wished to see Him. Some of the greatest scriptures showing Jesus' love for the children are in the Book of Matthew. "And whoever welcomes a little child like this in My Name welcomes Me." States Matthew 18:5. What does this tell you? Cleary this one heart of scripture is saying that the children of this world mean a great deal to God Himself. The bible also says unless we change and become like the little children, we will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18:3. What does this mean? Child-like faith is to simply believe without seeing. Children believe in fairy-tales, etc. even though many tell them it's just pretend. But, these children have something some adults and teens do not; that is faith. And what is faith? Faith is to believe without seeing. Most children probably do not have proof of the fairy-tales they consume. Yet, they still believe. Now, we are all children of God, but I greatly believe that the little children of this world hold a special place in the Lord's Kingdom. Go out of your way to support a child. Please make a way for the children Jesus so closely cherishes. Support a child I admire your love and care in this delicate situation of suffering children.
