| God, where are you? Have you ever pondered such a question? If so, you may just be more normal than you know. One thing I have had to learn the hard way is the truth that God is omnipresent. Whether you feel alone or may actually be alone, God is still there. Although God is called the invisible God, His "eternal power and divine nature have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse." Romans 1:20 What does this mean? Simply, God--whether seen--is present at all times. We may not see him physically, but we see Him in the lives of fellow believers; we feel Him in our hearts. The most common conclusion for an unbeliever is that God surely doesn't exist because they cannot see Him. Such a statement causes me to recall one young girl who ministered on the streets of a beach. On one specific day, a man approached her and asked her, "What are you doing?" Replying to the man, she said, "I am preaching the Gospel." The man said, "How can you believe in something you've never seen?" She paused but simply replied, "I believe because I can feel the existance of God in my heart." Have you ever felt God? If you have felt God even just once, there is no need to doubt that He is real! God is present at all times, through trouble, triumph, sadness, and glory. God is there. Numerous times I have felt as though the presence of God was no longer in my life. Numerous times men of the Bible, such as David, felt as though the presence of God had swept from them! The only way to overcome the lonliness and emptiness upon your life is to grab your Bible and pray! The Lord hears the cries of His believers; He will always be there when you most need Him. If there is one thing that I have learned, it's the truth that the Bible is the Word of God. Who is the Word of God? Jesus is. Therefore, when you you feel guilty, alone, or empty, begin to study your Bible. The Lord will reveal Himself to you. {home} All rights reserved.
