| Another month....another new chance to learn and accomplish! August was a busy and exhausting month for many members, myself included. Some members went through trials with their employment stabilities, new births in the families, tiring and sometimes disappointing vacation plans, moving to new houses, moving across the country, deaths in the family illness and more. No stress represented in our club! LOL One thing for sure, however.... we could always get to our friends through the net! Even when Yahoo! had numbing capabilities with the club message board, members were still able to communicate...... and perhaps, even use the down time from Yahoo for stitching! Many projects completed this past month and many new started with the inspiration of others through this close-stitched club! We tried something new in this club this past month..... on-line classes in chat! What a great chance to hear and discuss new and detailed explanations in our mutual lifestyle - QUILTING! Mysty359 did an excellent job in hosting 3 classes on consequetive Thursday Evenings covering Color Theory and Useful Tools. So much fun to learn and share. I think we all went away wanting to accomplish something new or get a new useful tool as encouraged by other members! These classes will be a part of the future although have not been set into a schedule as yet. Stay tuned! So, with my computer and all my files safely tucked away in boxes and my time limited to be on-line with the changes in my recent move, I welcome you all to read through the newsletter and enjoy the comforts of your club!
