The King in his quest to own everything in his kingdom, stumbled into the patchwork of a generous talented quilter. One stumbling block in his plan diverts his attention to be the giver to lastly be the receiver of a wonderfully made quilt. This book uses many quilt patterns and is a very bold colorful book for children. (But adults like it, too) Ilustrator for Quilt Patterns: Joanne Larsen Line with Gail DeMarcken, Nancy Loving Tubesing Quilts from the Quiltmaker's Gift are highlighted and patterned with full colorful pictures in the sequel book. Instructions are very well-prepared and easy to do. Both books should be a highlight in a child's life and will help insure the Art of Quilting to live on in generations. |
