 
The Pontchartrain Chihuahua Fanciers' Club takes great pride in not only preserving, but improving the breed, by following these guidelines.
1. As a breeder, I will breed dogs in accordance with the Standard of the breed.
2. I will refuse stud service to any bitch that is not AKC registered or who has limited registration.
3. I will not sell any dog that has defects of a nature that will make it detrimental to the breed unless it is with the condition that it be spayed or neutered and will be sold only with limited priviledges.
4. I will not sell stock without a true representation to the purchaser, nor use misleading or untruthful statements in selling or advertising.
5. I will not sell or donate dogs to commercial wholesalers or retailers.
6. I will maintain high standards in the care of my dogs.
7. I will comply with all rules and regulations set forth by the AKC.
8. I will not deliberately degrade any member, his breed, or his kennel operation.
9. I will pledge to help educate the public in the standard of my breed.
10. I will help the new owner in every reasonable way.
