Finally we have some rains in Brisbane. This is good for early spring and also good for our level three water restriction. This weekend we went to Rocks Circuit in Kawaratha Forest. The new shots of gum trees started to come out. We saw a little bit more insects, as we expected for the early insect season, most of them were predators. They includes spiders, mantids and Ichneumon Wasps. We saw the male Bark Mantid the first time. It was hunting on the forest floor. Besides predators, Treehoppers were common. We took some adults Largest Leafhopper photos.
