The Foursquare Church - officially, The International Church of the Foursquare Gospel - was founded in Los Angeles, California by Aimee Semple McPherson in 1923.

Amidst the revival days of the early 1900's, this fellowship of believers was born, determined to proclaim the solid scriptural core of Pentecostal renewal, avoiding extremes of fanaticism on one hand and materialism on the other.

God, in His grace, has allowed us to grow from the one local fellowship to several thousand churches in over 100 countries around the world.

We have no desire to compete or compare. We rejoice for every body of believers who lifts the blood-stained banner of Jesus Christ.
