A four week series to help prepare the expectant mother and her support person for a shared birth experience, both physically and emotionally. Comfort measures, relaxation and breathing techniques, labor medications, and cesarean birth are highlights of the class. Class size is often limited. PCEA recommends completing this class by the 36th week of pregnancy. Please bring two pillows and a blanket.

Private instruction done in your home with one of our instructors. This class is ideal for moms on bed rest or for couples unable to attend a four-week session. Call registrar to arrange for private tutor.
Fee: $150 per couple
This class educates parents on life with baby. Instruction on feeding, bathing, diapering are offered by PCEA instructors trained in infant care. Class size is limited. Newborn care classes may be taken any time in the pregnancy. Parents planning on breastfeeding are encouraged to take our breastfeeding class. Please bring pen and paper.
Fee: $30 per couple
Private newborn care instruction done in your home with one of our instructors trained in infant care. A 2 hour tutorial is given on caring for baby in the first four weeks of life.
Fee: $75 per couple
This class focuses on helping parents get a good start in the art of breastfeeding. Practical tips and information will be provided on breast care, common problems and breastfeeding and the working mom. Bring pen and paper. The expectant couple is encouraged to take this class together.
Fee: $30 per couple
A one-day, condensed and fast paced childbirth preparation class offered for first time parents or those desiring a review. Information will be given to aid the mother in giving birth in a hospital setting. Highlights include breathing and relaxation techniques, c-section and pain relief. Currently Care Choices does not reimburse for this class.
