Battery life on the MobilePro 770 is, of course, very short compared
to that of the Wizard 770. Wizards can run for several months on
two AA batteries. The MobilePro, with the large color screen, will
drain its lithium-ion battery in about four hours of non-stop use.
However, there is a battery pack that uses four AA batteries that
is light-weight, and can be carried for emergency useage. The standard
lithium-ion battery re-charges in just a few hour, so this is not
really a problem. Here is a screen shot of the battery power program
that is part of Windows CE:
And here are several photos of the additional AA battery pack adaptor.
As you can see, it is larger that the standard lithium-ion battery.
