There is a huge difference in battery life, and this makes another huge
difference in the portability and usefulness of the PDA in question.
The OZ-770 Wizard runs on two AA alkaline batteries for literally
months of normal use. You never have to worry about recharging,
and you never need to replace an expensive rechargeable battery.

The Jornada 525 and the Treo 90 both use rechargeable batteries.
These batteries will work for a few years at the most, and must
then be replaced. Replacement batteries sell for about $40. That's
not so bad. However, the power drain is much steeper than with the
Sharp OZ-770. The Jornada 525 needs to be recharged every other day.
The Treo 90 can go for up to six days before requiring a recharge.
Of course these times will vary depending on how heavily you use your PDA.
