| PEOPLE'S COALITION AGAINST WAR (PCAW) Statement on the Palestinian situation Issued April 4, 2002 The People�s Coalition Against War (PCAW) stands in militant solidarity and support with the heroic and persevering Palestinian people in their current Intifada (uprising). The long suffering Palestinians of both Israel and Palestine have been denied their long sought after right of self-determination to decide for themselves what their future will be. The Zionist state with its acts of racist settler colonial policies have attempted to wipe out a whole people and nation. With the view of correcting long-standing wrongs, PCAW demands the Zionist government of Israel: 1) Cease making war on the whole Palestinian people! 2) Stop terrorist / racist acts of repression! 3) Pull all Israeli troops out of the Palestinian territories! 4) Remove, forcibly if necessary, all Zionist colonial settlements in the occupied territories! 5) Return all land taken from the Palestinian people! 6) Agree to and implement the rights of the displaced people to return to their homes! 7) Make reparations for all damages to civilians! 8) Free all political prisoners! In addition, PCAW demands that the US government stop its unilateral support for the Zionist state and its acts of repression and expansion at the expense of the Palestinian people! We ask all peace and justice loving Americans to review and correct the one-sided foreign policy in the Middle East. We also demand that the US government stop the racist profiling by race and religion of our fellow Arab and Muslim sisters and brothers! We insist that their human rights be respected. We demand the end to state terrorism! Additionally, we urge the heroic and long suffering Palestinian people to take seriously the criticisms regarding the suicide bombers taking of civilian life. We can understand the pain and frustrations of the people, but acts of blind hatred only confuse the issue and play into the hands of the enemy. Please pause and reflect. We stand in solidarity and militant unity with the peace and justice loving Israeli people, especially the reservist who have refused to serve in the Zionist racist repression. We also stand in militant unity with �the Women in Black� and the �NOT IN MY NAME� campaigners. We are with you brothers and sisters, just as we are with our Palestinian sisters and brothers. Together, we can surely find a way out of this mess. Stop Israeli aggression and invasion! Israel out of the Palestine territories! Zionist settlers out of the territories!
