Bumble Bee Cane Tutorial The Wings & Body

Assembling the body and wings:Set the body in front of you like so�
You are going to make a curved cut on each side with the tissue blade.
This is where the wings will sit on the body�.
You can set aside the 2 outside sections as we wont use them.
Reduce the wing cane until it will fit in the 2 sections you just cut out.
Remember that the wings are quite a bit smaller than the body.
That�s the miracle of the bumble bee. According to the small wing size compared to the body�it shouldn�t be able to fly�.
When you have the wings reduced to the size you like place them in the body sections and gently shape the body around the wings�
I now reduce this cane to the size(s) I want and then make the head and attach.
The Bumble Bees Head:
For the head simply roll out a snake of black clay the size you want the head to be.
You could pack around the head with translucent clay if you like, but I really don�t find a problem with the cane without the packing. Its your choice.
