'How to bring the nose into the right shape'

First of all you must place a big block of balsa in front of the first partition. Be sure that the lines of the edge of the block are more then 3mm higher than the edges of the partition, because of the covering.

After that you can draw some lines on the block and start sawing.

I advice you to search for some pictures of the Cat nose for helping you to thid job.

More I cannot say about the nose. If you 've sawn all the parts from the block you must sandpaper the hole in the final shape. I suggest that you get a picture of the cat for seeing the small details.
