| Central character is John Hamner, ex Canadian Karate and Kick Boxing champion. He was the owner of a bar called "Thunderstruck", in Angeles city, that catered to the heavy metal brigade and was the haunt of the 'Mad Dog' motorcycle gang, of which he was president. This impressive reputation didn't do him any good when a couple of hit men put 13 rounds from an AK47 into his back one dark night in December 2000. Rumour has it that it was a revenge job from some miffed off people in Thailand. |
