| The Sears & Roebuck Company has been serving the Mid-Ohio Valley for over 80 years, the first store in the area opened on 7th St. in Parkersburg, West Virginia and was there from 1917 until it moved to upper market St. in 1936. The store was relocated in 1952 to a site on 5th St. and remained there until 20 years later, in 1972, when it was moved to the Grand Central Mall in nearby Vienna, West Virginia where it is still located today. |
