| The "Par-Bel" beach, located on the Belpre side of the Ohio River, is pictured here in the early 1900's. The B&O Railroad bridge, shown in the front of the photo, still looks as it did then. However, the Parkersburg/Belpre bridge shown in the photo, was torn down in 1980 after it was replaced by a new four-lane bridge that was constructed between the two bridges.
