| The annual Parkersburg, West Virginia Christmas Parade down Market Street. The street decorations that you see in the picture were brand new and displayed for the first time the year that this photo was taken, and most of which are used every Christmas season still today. This picture was on the front page of the Parkersburg Sentinel dated Saturday evening , November, 30, 1963. The parade originally scheduled for Friday, Nov. 29, had to be postponed, due to heavy rainfall, and rescheduled for the next day. |
