The old Parkersburg-Belpre Bridge, shown here with the center span gone as it was being demolished in February of 1980. To the left of the picture you can see the New bridge and the train bridge. ( boy, that old train bridge sure has held up over the years, hasn't it?)
When travelling across the bridge from the Belpre side to the Parkersburg side, if you look to the right, you can still see one of the columns that supported the old Parkersburg-Belpre Bridge.
