Replied taosbat, with a winkle... Re: IE6 Repair & Security Settings: Yes, an old friend of the Group posted this on that. (I soooo love the new search function for the archived posts...) To reset your IE6 security settings: Go to your browser's Toolbar & click Tools > Internet Options > Security > Custom Level: Either use the drop-down box to select Medium, or, scroll down the window & set by hand (screenshots of my security settings are in the Group Photo album, under taosbat > sec1 through sec8). Re: Other Matters: I just scanned the latest posts...& won't have a lot of time 'til a little later today. So... I see there are several of you still having troubles with PB. It looks to me like you are all using IE6 or 5.5. Is that correct? Are any NS users still having troubles? Ethan was very clear about his problems with IE... See ladapup's modal yodel. I don't recall anyone not being able to load PB, it seems like all the troubles are with PB functions once it's open. Is that correct? Most of you seem to be having broad function problems with PB, not just isolated broken buttons. Is that correct? I'm sure Ethan will be looking at your posts soon, gathering information for his next fix. Until he arrives... Has everyone still experiencing problems visited Robyn's PB Loading page? Before trying to load PB again, it wouldn't hurt to clear your browser's cache & cookies, defrag., etc. Do everything you can to ensure you're getting a clean start. To the person with the 15-month old HP Pavilion. My XE783 is of the same vintage. I used to have similar problems & had to scan & defrag daily, too. First, I upgraded my RAM to 512meg, then, I upgraded from ME to XP home...muuuuch better... Ethan, I've heard several people ask about the ani functions in Add Ons, saying they no longer have them. I have those functions & this page tests the bouncer (Hee!Hee!Hee!, ‘pup thought he‘d seen the last of that...). Note: I do not see the bouncer in Preview. The clipboard works.
