"Don't Bug Me!" by Jeffrey Scott - Challenge: Developing empathy

To complete Quetzal's collection of garden butterflies, the gang sets out to find a beautiful Flutterby. But Ord is scared of bugs and doesn't like the idea of searching through flowers. Max sees the hunt as a great adventureand even decides to have fun scaring Ord with a spider. When Ord gets upset, a surprised ax laughs and Ord runs away. Max loves bugs and can't understand how Ord, who is so much bigger than he, could be afraid of them.

What I saw:

Don't Bug Me!
Max plays with a plastic spider, the dragons call, Quetzal has a live butterfly collection. He wants a flutterby, an angelic butterfly,they all look for the flutterby, but Ord doesn't like bugs. He reluctantly goes. They go into tall flowers, Ord freaks out. they spot the flutterby, they give chase. Max catches it, but it slips out. Ord has a snack, Max puts a rubber spider on Ord, scaring Ord away. Max realizes his mistake. He apologizes. A snake appears, scaring Max. They 'charm' the snake, the snake whistles in a rhythm. The flutterby passes again. It lands on Ord's tail, then on his nose. He takes it to Quetzal on his nose. [Don't torture someone with scary things]

Comments:Max should know better.
