"The Greatest Show in Dragon Land" by Rick Gitelson - Challenge: Accommodating individual differences

The kids and dragons are really excited about flying to Wonder World amusement park. When they find out Zak and Wheezie have a broken wing and are unable to fly, however, they agree to accommodate their friends by walking there instead.

What I saw:

Wheezie hurts her wing, and is stuck in a cast, and since they can't fly to the carnival rides, they walk, despite Wheezie's suggestion they go on without her. (As well as Zak, of course) They ride a sea serpent across the lake, climb a mountain, slide down it. They finally reach the carnival rides, but the rides pale to the trip they took. They leave the same way they come (Getting there is half the fun, maybe even more fun!)

Comments: These guys are excellent friends of Wheezie.
