Challenge: Coping with fear of nightmares

A festive scene is set for a carnival in Dragon Land! Amid colorful streamers, balloons and flags, the kids arrive to find the dragons too pooped to party. Ord, who has been having bad dreams, kept them all awake during a sleepover at his cave. They agree to take a quick nap and all snuggle into Quetzal's hammock but still Ord is afraid to doze off.

What I saw:

Max and Emmy go to a carnival, only to find Ord's group very tired. Ord has kept them up during the night, because he was afraid he'll get nightmares if he slept. Emmy and Max help out by making the nightmare creature look silly. They use some tiki masks. (Nightmares aren't so bad)

Comments: The kids should spend the night with the dragons more often... In my stories, Ord and Cassie spend the night at Max and Emmy's place alternately, and I'm working on one where the family stays in Dragonland for the weekend. Wheezie looks so beautiful dozing...
