Challenge: Dealing with fear of spending the night away from home
Everyone is invited to a big sleepover at Zak and Wheezie's! Cassie, who's never spent the night away from home before, is a little scared. At Emmy's suggestion, she brings along a favorite family photo as a reminder of home and off she goes to join her friends. Although she has lots of fun popping dragoncorn, playing games, waging pillow fights and making shadow puppets, she misses her parents.
What I saw:
The Big Sleepover
Cassie is invited to a sleepover at Zak and Wheezie's, but is
scared of sleeping away from home. She wants to bring her big
pile of books and her huge collection of pillows, but has to settle
for family pictures instead. She does a half-sleepover instead.
Cassie's badge glows.
Comments: We get to see some of Cassie's house and Zak and Wheezie's room in this episode. Cassie sure loves her books, and those nice pillows... I think she sleeps on a pile of pillows with her brothers and sisters... guess that's how they keep warm, huddled together closely... not THAT closely, you perverts! It seems likethey have a pretty old-fashioned "party line" type of phone... it could be powered by a converted hand crank generator.
Goofs/Missing Items: Cassie mentions 76 brothers and sisters, later she mentions 78... I don't think her parent can be that fecund, i think they take in children from irresponsible couples who couldn't care less of the results of their actions. This is normal. An episode idea would be that they take in a foster child for a few days, and the kids go to dragon land to tell the dragons that there's a new baby in the house but it's not Mom and Dad's, Cassie tells that her parents do the same thing, when there's a couple that can't get along well. A troubled dragon would be a VERY bad thing and very dangerous... so that's why they take them in very young... it's my guess.. I'm writing something to this effect...
